The Society has been committed to preserving Gilmanton’s history since 1967. Our ongoing work to discover and share the story of our beloved Town is our mission. Every donation or loan of artifacts reveals another part of the story and for that we are eternally grateful to the hundreds of townspeople and relatives that have joined the effort. The Society is fortunate to preserve and protect an extensive collection of artifacts that include:
